La Paz County is a 4,500 square mile rural county in Western Arizona that was formed in 1983.
La Paz County is bordered on the west by the Colorado River which contributes greatly to the
recreational and agricultural industries of the region. Since then tourism and agriculture have become
the leaders in the county’s economy. The main population centers are the town of Parker (County Seat) and Quartzsite.
